Conditions

Name the problem. We'll name the plan.

Most conditions we see share one trait: they respond to precise, well-dosed rehabilitation. Find yours below — and the programme built for it.

Spine4 conditions

Lower Back Pain

The world's leading cause of disability — and one of the most treatable. Over 90% of cases respond to structured conservative care without imaging or surgery.

  • Aching or stiffness across the lower back
  • Pain with prolonged sitting or bending
  • Morning stiffness easing with movement

Pinched Nerve (Neck)

Nerve root irritation in the neck causing radiating arm symptoms. Precise diagnosis distinguishes it from shoulder problems it often mimics.

  • Sharp pain radiating into the arm
  • Pins and needles in specific fingers
  • Symptoms change with neck position

Disc Herniation

Discs herniate — and then, in most cases, they heal. Research shows the majority of herniations reabsorb over time with the right loading strategy.

  • Back pain with radiating leg symptoms
  • Pain worse with sitting and forward bending
  • Relief when walking or lying down

Sciatica

Irritation of the sciatic nerve pathway. The label is common; the causes vary widely — which is exactly why cookie-cutter treatment fails.

  • Pain radiating from buttock down the leg
  • Numbness or tingling below the knee
  • Worse with sitting, coughing or sneezing

Upper Limb3 conditions

Rotator Cuff Injury

From irritation to tears, the rotator cuff responds remarkably well to progressive loading — many full-thickness tears do not need surgery.

  • Pain reaching overhead or behind the back
  • Night pain lying on the affected side
  • Weakness lifting the arm

Frozen Shoulder

Adhesive capsulitis follows its own biological timeline. Stage-matched physiotherapy shortens the course and protects strength throughout.

  • Progressive loss of shoulder movement
  • Significant night pain
  • Difficulty dressing or reaching

Tennis / Golfer's Elbow

Tendinopathy of the forearm attachments — an overload problem that needs progressive strengthening, not rest and braces alone.

  • Pain gripping or lifting objects
  • Tenderness at the elbow's bony points
  • Worse after repetitive hand use

Lower Limb3 conditions

Knee Osteoarthritis

Exercise therapy is the gold-standard first-line treatment — shown to rival surgery for many patients while building lifelong joint health.

  • Knee stiffness after rest
  • Pain on stairs and inclines
  • Swelling after activity

ACL Tear

Whether managed operatively or not, ACL outcomes are determined by rehabilitation quality and objective return-to-sport testing.

  • A 'pop' at the moment of injury
  • Rapid swelling within hours
  • Instability or giving way

Plantar Fasciitis

First-step heel pain that traps runners and walkers alike. Load management plus calf-foot strengthening resolves the vast majority of cases.

  • Sharp heel pain with first morning steps
  • Pain easing during activity, returning after
  • Tenderness under the heel

Neurological2 conditions

Vertigo (BPPV)

The most common cause of spinning dizziness — and often resolvable in one to three sessions with canalith repositioning manoeuvres.

  • Brief spinning triggered by head position
  • Dizziness rolling over in bed
  • Unsteadiness between episodes
